Lin Bing Conducts On-Field Research at Liberia Branch

Recently, Lin Bing, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Chongqing International Construction Corporation, led a delegation to the project sites of the Group’s Liberia Branch for on-site research. During the visit, the delegation called on Liberia’s Minister of Public Works, Hon. Roland Layfette Giddings, Program Director from Infrastructure Implementation Unit, Emmanuel K Baker, and Chinese Ambassador to Liberia, Yin Chengwu. Lin also held on-site meetings to address practical challenges faced by the branch company. Representatives from the Group's General Office, Business Management Department, Engineering Management Department, and Overseas Market Operation Company accompanied the delegation.

Frontline Engagement: Promoting Project Implementation and Achieving Mutual Benefits
On March 30, Lin and his delegation visited the Bong Mine project site to conduct a field inspection, listen to progress updates, and engage in discussions with participating construction units to build consensus. He emphasized that all parties involved must strengthen communication and collaboration, leverage their respective strengths, and coordinate resource allocation to ensure steady project progress and timely goal achievement, ultimately realizing mutual benefits. He also stated that the Chongqing International Construction Corporation(CICO) Group will fully support construction mobilization and material supply to ensure project quality, safety, and schedule.

Government-Corporation Engagement: Gaining Greater Support and Safeguarding Group Interests
On the morning of March 31, Lin and his delegation paid courtesy visits to Liberia’s Minister of Public Works, Hon. Roland Layfette Giddings, and Program Director from Infrastructure Implementation Unit, Emmanuel K Baker. The two sides held in-depth discussions on the progress of key ongoing projects undertaken by CICO Liberia. They also explored solutions to existing issues and clarified the direction of future cooperation. Both officials expressed full recognition of the Group's work in Liberia and affirmed their continued support for its projects and future development.

Visit to the Ambassador: Seizing the Moment and Expanding New Development Horizons
On the afternoon of March 31, Lin and his team visited Chinese Ambassador to Liberia, Yin Chengwu, and briefed him on the Group’s business operations, internal management, local integration efforts, and future development vision. Ambassador Yin commended the Group’s sense of mission as a representative of Chongqing enterprises “going global” and shared insights into the current Liberian market conditions and policy environment. He encouraged the Group to pursue development opportunities amid challenges. Lin responded by expressing the Group’s firm confidence in development, strategic focus, and commitment to further cultivating the Liberian market through compliant and clean operations, thereby contributing to China-Liberia economic cooperation.

On-Site Meetings: Accurately Addressing Needs and Resolving Grassroots Challenges
On the afternoon of March 31, Lin held a symposium at the Liberia Branch conference room with all staff and project managers in attendance. Participants reflected on their work in alignment with the Group’s overall development strategy, identified challenges, proposed solutions, and offered suggestions for the Group’s development. Lin attentively listened to their inputs, acknowledged the achievements of the Liberia Branch, and addressed each of the issues raised, successfully resolving several long-standing problems.
 
For the next phase of CICO, Lin stressed the following:
·  Center efforts on 2025 targets, plan comprehensively, implement precise measures, and execute with high standards to ensure full completion of tasks.
·  Seize market opportunities and accelerate the launch of new projects; allocate resources scientifically and strictly control costs to ensure efficient and steady execution of ongoing projects.
·  Deeply study local laws and regulations to enhance compliance capacity; improve the safety management system, enforce accountability, and prevent operational and production risks.
·  Strengthen coordination with Group departments to realize efficient information and resource sharing; improve internal control execution and reinforce anti-corruption measures to ensure smooth progress across all work.
